Hello Grafana Community,
I’m currently testing k6 Studio and I’m impressed with its capabilities. However, I’ve identified an area where I believe the tool could be enhanced, specifically in the recording functionality.
Suggestion:
Add an option to start the recording browser in “incognito” mode.
Rationale:
- This would allow for testing without interference from existing cookies or cached data.
- It could provide a more consistent testing environment across different recording sessions.
- It would help in simulating first-time user experiences more accurately.
Current Limitation:
As of now, there doesn’t seem to be an option to start the recording browser in incognito mode.
Additional Thoughts:
While incognito mode is my primary suggestion, it might be worth considering other browser mode options to further enhance the recording capabilities of k6 Studio.
I believe this feature would significantly improve the flexibility and accuracy of the test recording process in k6 Studio.
Has anyone else encountered this limitation or have thoughts on this suggestion? I’d be interested in hearing the community’s perspective on this potential improvement.
Thank you for your consideration.
Patrick
